  1. Don’t forget to add gutter cleaning on this list.

Are you wondering why you need rain gutters? Actually, gutters are very important to the health of your entire home.
Rain Gutters have one job… to move water away from a building or home so the structure does not suffer from water damage. When water is not diverted away from your home, all sorts of problems develop:
    – Cracked, uneven, or damaged foundation.
    – Staining on the exterior of the home, siding…
    – Soil erosion around your house.
    – Leaks and/or flooded basement or crawlspace.
    – Mold and mildew growth inside and outside.
    – Moist environment attracts termites and other insects
    – Settling and cracking of sidewalks, driveways, and other concrete.
    – Rotting fascia boards at the roof line.

  3. I’m both selling and buying. It may sound simple but it’s not. Make your bed and pick up your dirty clothes before a showing. I can’t tell you how many houses we’ve seen with dirty drawers laying out. Even their pictures on the websites have beds unmade, laundry on the floor and dirty dishes left laying around. No one wants to see your mess.

  4. Nice infographic…thanks for sharing good information.

  5. At http://www.realhelprealestate.com we show before and after photos of how our sellers have been able to “declutter” their homes and get more for the homes in the process: http://viewpropertydetailsandphotosofthishome.realhelprealestate.com/idx/search/advanced. We have a process for helping our sellers to do a “clean sweep” of their home. Everything goes out on the lawn in “keep” “Give to non profit” and “sell” piles. We help the sellers move items in and out. It is a fun and bonding experience and makes a world of difference! Give it a try.
