In 2007 I developed EcoStaging(R) as a new program for stagers, interior decorators and real estate professionals to gain knowledge and insight to a trend i saw as the next marketing wave. Chuckles I didn’t expect it to take five years to catch on but glad to see we have a following more people are realizing what weighs heavily when purchasing a property is if the utilities are affordable once you move in.. Green certification helps you understand the nuances of design, decor, green sustainability and green build.

  2. There is no doubt that on the resale market, green homes sell for more. The lower utility bills in of themselve translate to a lower monthly payment. Gas prices wildly fluctuate at the pump, but it seems the utility companies have a constant line up when it comes to home energy prices.
